The 22nd International EISCAT Symposium and the 49th Annual European Meeting on Atmospheric Studies by Optical Methods (49AM, also known as “The Optical Meeting”) will be held jointly at the Space Campus, Kiruna, Sweden, from 24th to 28th August 2026, hosted by EISCAT AB and the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF).
Abstracts submission deadline for the Symposium: 21st April 2026.
International EISCAT Radar School: the Symposium will be preceded by a Radar School, which will take place 17th to 21st August 2026 at Kilpisjarvi, Finland, hosted jointly by Sodankyla Geophysical Observatory and EISCAT AB.
Application deadline for the Radar School: 31st March 2026.
