Augura Space est une start-up deeptech issue de travaux de recherche menés au CNES, spécialisée dans la météorologie de l’espace et l’intelligence artificielle appliquées aux systèmes et infrastructures critiques.
Après la mise en ligne de notre plateforme opérationnelle et la présentation de nos premiers résultats de recherche en prévision, nous développons désormais plusieurs projets avec le CNES, l’ESA, la DGA, des opérateurs de satellites et des industriels européens.
Nous recrutons un(e) Head of Science pour construire et diriger notre équipe scientifique, définir notre roadmap de R&D et transformer des travaux de recherche de pointe en services opérationnels. Nos développements portent notamment sur l’environnement radiatif des satellites, la thermosphère et la traînée atmosphérique, ainsi que les perturbations ionosphériques affectant le GNSS et les communications.
Le poste, basé à Paris avec possibilité de télétravail régulier, associe leadership scientifique, management d’équipe et contribution directe aux activités de recherche et développement.

Augura Space is hiring a Head of Science – Space Weather and Space Environment
Augura Space is a deeptech start-up building on research conducted at CNES and specialising in space weather intelligence and artificial intelligence for critical systems and infrastructure.
Following the release of our operational platform and the presentation of our initial forecasting research results, we are now developing several projects with CNES, ESA, the French Defence Innovation Agency, satellite operators and European industrial partners.
We are hiring a Head of Science to build and lead our scientific team, define our R&D roadmap, and turn cutting-edge research into operational services. Our work focuses in particular on the satellite radiation environment, the thermosphere and atmospheric drag, as well as ionospheric disturbances affecting GNSS and communications.
The position is based in Paris, with regular remote working possible, and combines scientific leadership, team management and direct contributions to research and development.
