Registration, abstract submissions, and travel grant applications are now open for the XXXIII IAU General Assembly (GA 2027), taking place from
10–19 August 2027 in Rome, Italy.
This gathering marks a historic milestone as the IAU General Assembly returns to Rome — the city that hosted the very first IAU GA in 1922 and again in 1952. Hosted by the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF), the conference will be held at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone.
The scientific programme includes 6 Symposia and 12 Focus Meetings, 9 Division Meetings, IAU Offices & Centre Meetings, Commission and Working Group sessions, and Invited Discourses.
