Dear Colleagues,
Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research, Nagoya University is presently seeking one designated associate professor and a few designated assistant professor to work in the Center for Heliospheric Science, ISEE, Nagoya University.
The successful candidates for this position will be expected to advance research in heliospheric system science and space weather forecasting. Responsibilities include constructing high-level data processing systems for satellites such as « Arase » « Mio » as well as organizing and promoting data that adds value to heliospheric system science, developing integrated analysis tools and databases, planning collaborative observational programs across missions, and developing data-driven simulation models. The candidate will actively contribute to the development of this research foundation on the heliospheric system, space-earth environment, and space weather with a focus on the Earth, Moon, and planetary ionosphere/magnetosphere.
