Solar Variability and Climate Group at MPS has an open position to be filled as soon as possible. The successful candidate is expected to start around 1 September 2025 and will work on the project « How strongly does the solar ultraviolet radiation vary? – Understanding the sources of the solar brightness variations in the UV« .
Besides a keen interest in Solar Physics and Solar Variability, applicants must prove a record of academic excellence. They must have, or must be about to obtain, an M.Sc. degree or equivalent in physics, astronomy or a related field, and must document a good command of the English language.
