DESCRIPTION:The SCOSTEP 16th Quadrennial Solar-Terrestrial Physics Symposiu
 m will be held on 1-5 June 2026 at Makedonia Palace Hotel\, Thessaloniki\,
  Greece\, with a school for students/early-career scientists on 30-31 May 
 2026. This is a major kick-off\nactivity of the SCOSTEP's COURSE program (
 Cross-scale coupling processes in solar-terrestrial system\, 2026-2030).\n
 \nThe deadline for the STP-16 abstract submission has now been extended to
  January 26\, 2026.\n\nSTP-16 aims to gather eminent scientists from solar
 \, magnetospheric\, ionospheric\, and atmospheric physics communities to d
 iscuss and deliberate on the cutting-edge sciences pertaining to solar-ter
 restrial physics (STP)\, especially the cross-scale coupling processes as 
 a focus area\, as a kick-off activity of the SCOSTEP’s new program COURS
 E — Cross-Scale Coupling Processes in the Solar-Terrestrial System in 20
 26-2030. We encourage all the scientists and students in the field of STP
