SUMMARY:ESLAB and 3rd Heliophysics in Europe meeting
DESCRIPTION:\nESLAB is an regular Symposium organised by the Science and Op
erations Department in the European Space Agency's Directorate of Science.
The ESLAB Symposia have been held since 1966 having as main objective to
foster scientific cooperation.\n\n\nFollowing the previous last two Heliop
hysics in Europe meetings\, we will cover ESA Heliophysics missions across
the various directorates and then dedicate the rest of the week to specif
ic topics of interest to the European Heliophysics Community (EHC) (See EH
C web page and publication)\n\n\nThe aim of this meeting is to bring toget
her the broad range of topics that make up the Heliophysics discipline\, w
ith a particular emphasis on the cross-cutting science that connects them.
In addition to scientific discussions\, the meeting will also highlight d
evelopments in instrumentation\, tools\, and current and future missions\,
and several other topics that are of interest to the community.\n\nAs in
previous editions\, contributed work will be presented via posters and rap
id-fire talks. These formats are designed to stimulate conversation and he
lp focus the meeting on interactive elements such as discussion panels\, u
nconference sessions\, and dedicated discussions on topics relevant to the
European Heliophysics community (EHC). These will include proposal writin
 g\, collaborations with industry\, mission development\, tools and data\,
sustainability\, outreach\, and science communication. There will also be
a dedicated session the EHC itself and how to get involved.\n\nWe invite y
ou to submit abstracts within the following topics:\n\n Topic 1: Cross-cu
tting science in the heliosphere and beyond\n Topic 2: Putting Science in
 to Space Weather\n Topic 3: Methods\, missions\, tools\, and instrumentat
ion\n Topic 4: Open topic (contributions not covered by the above)\n\nWe
aim to have a hybrid meeting\, at least making the talks available online.
\n\nPlease go to the webpage to register (deadline 31 July 2026) and submi
t and abstract (deadline 30 June 2026).\n\nThe workshop will be held at ES
A ESTEC in the Netherlands. Registration is mandatory and includes several
questions to enable access to the site. You are advised to register early
 .\n\n\n(Transmis par Lina Hadid)
