SUMMARY:ESLAB and 3rd Heliophysics in Europe meeting
DESCRIPTION:\nESLAB is an regular Symposium organised by the Science and Op
 erations Department in the European Space Agency's Directorate of Science.
  The ESLAB Symposia have been held since 1966 having as main objective to 
 foster scientific cooperation. The 2026 ESLAB focuses on Heliophysics and 
 ESA related activities and combines with the third Heliophysics in Europe 
 meeting.\n\nThe aim of this meeting is to bring together the broad range o
 f topics that make up the Heliophysics discipline\, with a particular emph
 asis on the cross-cutting science that connects them. In addition to scien
 tific discussions\, the meeting will also highlight developments in instru
 mentation\, tools\, and current and future missions\, and several other to
 pics that are of interest to the community.\n\nAs in previous editions\, c
 ontributed work will be presented via posters and rapid-fire talks. These 
 formats are designed to stimulate conversation and help focus the meeting 
 on interactive elements such as discussion panels\, unconference sessions\
 , and dedicated discussions on topics relevant to the European Heliophysic
 s community (EHC). These will include proposal writing\, collaborations wi
 th industry\, mission development\, tools and data\, sustainability\, outr
 each\, and science communication. There will also be a dedicated session t
 he EHC itself and how to get involved.\n\nWe invite you to submit abstract
 s within the following topics:\n\n 	Topic 1: Cross-cutting science in the 
 heliosphere and beyond\n 	Topic 2: Putting Science into Space Weather\n 	T
 opic 3: Methods\, missions\, tools\, and instrumentation\n 	Topic 4: Open 
 topic (contributions not covered by the above)\n\nWe aim to have a hybrid 
 meeting\, at least making the talks available online.\nPlease go to the we
 bpage to register (deadline 31 July 2026) and submit and abstract (deadlin
 e 30 June 2026).\n\nThe workshop will be held at ESA ESTEC in the Netherla
 nds. Registration includes several questions to enable access to the site.
