SUMMARY:Coronal Loop Workshop XII: First announcement
DESCRIPTION:\nThe 12th Coronal Loops Workshop will be held from 8-11 June 2
 026 at Northumbria University in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (UK). The Coronal Loo
 ps Workshops are a series of highly focused biennial meetings\, organized 
 since 2002. They deal with the observation and modeling of magnetically co
 nfined solar plasma. The overarching theme for the meeting is Magnetic Fie
 ld Reconfiguration and Energy Partition.\n\nThe abstract submission (for t
 alks and posters) and pre-registration will open on the 15th  of February
 . We encourage graduate students and early-career postdocs to participate 
 and present their research work. While abstracts are not required for part
 icipation (pre-registration is mandatory)\, preference will be given to th
 ose who submit abstracts\, to limit the number of participants to 75. The 
 abstract submission and pre-registration will close on the 15th of March.T
 he registration fee (£270) includes the workshop\, a welcome reception\, 
 coffee breaks\, lunches from Monday to Thursday. The conference dinner on 
 Wednesday is £50 per person.\n\nThe LOC aims to offer a limited number of
  registration fee waivers or full support\, with preference for PhD studen
 ts and early career researchers. To be considered for support\, please che
