  advertised to ATST.\n\nA105. Solar Irradiance in the Past\, Present\, and
  Future for Geophysical Applications\n\nTotal solar irradiance (TSI) and s
 olar spectral irradiance (SSI) are fundamental drivers of the Earth system
 . Understanding the Sun's influence on Earth’s atmosphere\, oceans\, and
  land surfaces requires knowledge of solar irradiance variability from pas
 t centuries to the present-day. An improved understanding of historical so
 lar variability leads to more credible future solar activity projections. 
 Furthermore\, various geophysical applications have different requirements
  for the temporal cadence\, spectral range\, resolution\, and accuracy of 
 the solar irradiance information. This session welcomes abstracts on recen
 t advances in the understanding of solar irradiance variability in the pas
 t\, present\, and future from measurements and models. We also welcome abs
 tracts that spotlight how continuous solar irradiance measurements drive i
 mprovements in various geophysical applications including global energy an
 d climate assessments\, the near-Earth space environment for space weather
  applications\, and satellite navigation and mission planning in Low and V
