SUMMARY:53rd EPS Conference on Plasma Physics
DESCRIPTION:The 53rd EPS Conference on Plasma Physics will take place on 5-
 9 July 2027 at the Swiss Plasma Center at EPFL\, in Lausanne\, Switzerland
 .\n\nThe call for proposals for Plenary and Invited Talks is now open\, wi
 th a deadline of 7 October 2026.\n\nThe conference programme covers Magnet
 ic Confinement Fusion\, Beam Plasma and Inertial Fusion\, Low Temperature 
 Plasmas\, and Basic\, Space and Astrophysical Plasmas. We particularly enc
 ourage members of the space and astrophysical plasma communities to submit
  proposals for Plenary and Invited Talks and help ensure strong representa
 tion of these fields in the conference programme.\n\nPlenary Talks should 
 provide a broad\, accessible overview of a key area in plasma physics. At 
 least one-third of the content should be introductory to engage the full c
 onference audience. Invited Talks should highlight cutting-edge research 
 and significant new results across any area of plasma physics.\n\nSelf-nom
 inations for plenary and invited talks are accepted\, please make sure thi
 s is clear in your submission. Please note that members of the Programme C
 ommittee and EPS Plasma Physics Division Board cannot be nominated\, and s
 peakers invited at either of the previous two conferences cannot be re-nom
 inated.\n\nProposals should be submitted through the conference Indico pag
