I am advertising a job opportunity at INAF/IAPS related to Solar Obiter/SWA. The title of the project is: ‘Investigating solar wind kinetics using observations by Solar Orbiter – SWA’. The selected candidate will mainly work on the reduction (using ML techniques) and analysis of data produced by SWA on board Solar Orbiter, with particular focus on the PAS sensor.
The position is for one year but it is renewable. The gross salary is 32000 euro.
Minimum requirements:
- A Ph.D. either in Astronomy, or Astrophysics, or Physics, or Engineering,
- or a Master degree either in Astronomy, or Astrophysics, or Physics, or Engineering, along with at least three years of documented experience in scientific or technological activities related to this call, obtained after the degree.
